Here are Graffiti Tours New York's Testimonials
- Jenie - Detroit - "We (my husband, almost 13 year old daughter and I) met Gabe at our hotel ( St. Regis on 5th and 55th) and travelled with him via taxi to Union Square subway stop then aboard a subway to Brooklyn to the Bushwick (not sure of name) area for our tour. Gabe is a young 23-24 year old, "with it", super nice and extremely intelligent guy who proceeded to introduce us to the wonderful art of street graffiti. Although the area we walked around was a tad "sketchy" we felt relatively safe because it was broad daylight and Gabe seems street smart and confident. We were so impressed with how well Gabe expressed himself, the amount of information he shared and his ability to answer our very inane questions. We were so thrilled with our tour that my husband gave Gabe a very large and much deserved gratuity. I highly recommend people take this tour and feel so fortunate that we were able to experience it ourselves."
- Franklin - New Jersey - "I went on a tour on a great Sunday afternoon. I was shocked at how much about graffiti there was to learn. I was only hoping to have a nice date with my girlfriend, and I ended up having the time of my life. At the end of the tour, I even got to create my very own T-shirt. How cool to learn about Graffiti and then do it myself."
- Daniel - New Jersey - "Graffiti Tours presents a fascinating tour of an area of New York City from a very different perspective. You get to learn about the grafitti and discover that much of it represents real art, painted by talented artists -- some of whom actually get paid by the property owner for enhancing their buildings! The tour guide is very knowledgeable and explains the background of the various types of graffiti and the artists that create them. I enjoyed the tour very much and hope to join other grafitti tours in different locations in the City."
- Rob - Toronto - "We went on the graffiti tour on a sunny, crisp January morning. It was one of the most enjoyable parts of our recent trip to NY. Gabe was extremely informative. He provided us with some basic background information as well as detailed insights into the artists and their work. He was particularly good about finding fresh, interesting work that he placed in a historical and global context. If you like modern, contemporary art, you owe it to yourself to check this out. If you like grafitti and street art, there could not be a better way to see it."
- Barbara - San Fransico - "I was spending a weekend in NY with my 14yr old son, who is very into graffiti and street art, and in my research for things to do/places to visit, I stumbled upon grafftours.com. We had limited time and I wasnt sure which tour would best suit our needs. Being pretty acquianted with the urban art scene in SF I wanted to get off the beaten track a bit. Anyway, I emailed them and Gabe, the founder, got right back to me. I told him our situation and we set up a private tour to Bushwick, Brooklyn. Gabe met us at our hotel and took us out from there. He was super friendly and engaging and we had a great time talking about how different the scene in NY is vs. SF. Once we got to Bushwick, Gabe was a wealth of history and information. My son, who knows *everything* about the graffiti world, was even impressed at some of the information we learned. We walked around for a good long while, stopping to inspect some of the most amazing pieces of urban art you'll ever get to see up close and personal. All in all, I'd say if you are looking for something to do that's off the beaten track, completely inspiring and of good value, this would be it!"

“I have been doing graffiti art for thirty years, and I honestly feel that Graffiti Tours New York captures the essence of what graffiti is all about. The tour is authentic and shows a balanced view of graffiti. I personally recommend this tour, and even have volunteered my services to give them in the future. This tour is important for the community, New York, and most importantly the children.”
- Mel - Australia
- “After coming from Australia, Graffiti Tours New York took care of all of our needs. They recommended a hotel, helped us eat authentically, and then took us on our tour. I was honestly wowed by the knowledge of the tour guide and the artist. The artist was great. He showed us his own work on the streets of New York and gave us insight into all the pieces we saw. I had a great experience. Graffiti Tours New York really took care of my family and I.”
- Ted - California
- “I knew about Los Angeles graffiti before I came to New York, but I had no idea there was so much to learn. After taking a public walking tour with Graffiti Tours New York, I signed up for a private tour of the Five Pointz. This was a enlightening experience. There is so much great art in one place, and I truly mean art. Five Pointz is as good as the MET if not better. ”
- Jay - New York
- "I have been a graffiti artist for ten years. After taking the tour, I signed up to work for them on the spot."
